On our last day we went on Elephant trek with 'Siam Safari' in the south of Phuket.
First a demonstration of Elephant training. The elephants seem to get a rounded education with due emphasis on sport (football) and the fine arts (painting and harmonica playing)
Then the elephant trek through the rubber plantation.
Riding on the elephants back is surprisingly uncomfortable, especially going down hills.
