Hong Kong - Chi Residences

For our first month in Hong Kong we stayed in Che Residences on West Connaught Road overlooking the entrance to the West Harbour Crossing, and the Sun Yat Sen memorial park and sports center.   The area is called Sheung Wang and is a center of selling dried seafood.

Chi Residences from the park - chi is the skinny building on the right.

Video panorama:   same view.  You can see how bust the harbour is with ferries to the outlying islands like Lamma and Lantau and to Macau.

Leaving Japan

On 28-Mar we got up at 5am to catch our flight from Haneda airport.

From our taxi we could see Tokyo Tower saying 'sayonara'.

And we all wondered what the future holds for us in Hong Kong

Kyo-chan very kindly came with us to help us depart.  Also Rin-chan and Rin-chan mama came to the airport to say good-bye to Hannah and Rika.

We flew ANA business-class so Hannah could enjoy sleeping in the flat-bed seats which are long enough to lie down flat in....

...for most people
