Family Visitors

Rika's Mum came up to Tokyo from Ikadaba last Tuesday and has been a massive help to us both. I have been trying to learn her 'Granny Magic' for calming Hanna.

Rika's friend Kyoko
Rika's sister Naomi

Three generations of S.'s.

Hanna's cousin Masumi

Hanna enjoyed the attention (but didn't let it go to her head)

Uncle Takashi

Lovely flowers from Mum and Dad. Somehow coordinated nicely with the blankets! Rika really appreciated the thought.

Hello Mr. Cohen (i didn't know you were Jewish). What a cutester! Despite the trauma of childbirth, Rika looks really healthy adn absolutely blossoming! Does childbirth do that to a woman??

We will be in Tokyo in September for a couple days with my mom and her partner. I would love to see you three if possible during that time.

I miss hanging out with you at your house. Maybe I can convince Sonoko's parents to open a noodle bar in Tokyo so that I can become a waiter.

Sonoko is now feeling like, "The only person who doesn't have a baby". A shortfall that only I can (should?) Remedy
