Deepwater Bay Beach

On Saturday we went shopping at Causeway Bay Ikea for a new kitchen for Hannah (of which more later).

This is Hannah and Rika enjoying Ikea.

Then after lunch back at our apartment, we booked a table at CoCo Thai, and took a taxi down to the Deepwater Bay beach around 3pm,    This is a good time to go to the beach as its not too hot.  Hannah  can still enjoy several hours at the beach, and when its getting dark there are no arguments about staying longer.

Deepwater Bay beach looking south .  The white tower things are life-guards lookout stations. And th white building in the trees is the showers and changing rooms with CoCo Thai restaurant on the top.

Rika at the beach.   Hong Kong being a small place we ran into some of my colleagues in their bikinis, so we relocated down the beach to let them frolic in peace.

This is Hannah walking along the beach in the water.  Daddy is staying dry but is ready to leap into the water as soon as she gets into trouble - which fortunately never happened.

Video:  Hannah enjoying a swim.  Rika is sitting at the back of the beach to the right of the life-guards.

Hannah in the water with life-gard on his boat.  Note the swimming platform out in the bay behind Hannah.

We had a nice meal at CoCo Thai, and just like last time we visited enjoyed a bottle of wine forgot to pick up Hannah's shoes from under the table.     So we will be going back again soon.
