National Foundation Day

Today was a public holiday so we had a quiet family day, playing with Hannah at home, going out to Meiji Shrine and then shopping at Harajuku. It was a lovely warm day with a hint of spring in the air despite patches of snow remaining on the ground.

Breakfast. Hanna hasn't shown much enthusiasm for eating solids but that doesn't stop her from feeling left out when we eat!

Hannah is now keen to practice standing.

Now she is active she is hungry all the time. She is currently waking up to be fed every couple of hours. So Rika is starting to top her up with formula or tea.

At Meiji Shrine.

Actuallythere was some sort of festival at the shrine which finished just before we arrived. This is the scene at the Meiji Shrine cafe, with groups of people wearing different types of festival costumes.

This is Rika giving a Hanna a quick 'pit stop' feed at the cafe. Rika is using a handy cape device which is designed to let her feed Hanna completely unobtrusively.
